About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in Kiel, Germany. This is an on-site position supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

Compensation

€22-30/hr (EUR hourly) Rates vary based on experience level and project complexity. Emergency and after-hours work may qualify for premium rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments

• Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) - preferred
• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems - preferred
• Familiarity with major colocation providers - preferred
