Advantest in Böblingen sucht einen Data Analyst – Technical Quality & Customer Insights (m/w/d). Sie liefern interpretierte analytische Einsichten zur Unterstützung datengetriebener Entscheidungen über technische Bereiche hinweg.

Sie analysieren komplexe Produktionsdaten gegen KPIs, identifizieren Muster und Ursachen, kommunizieren Ergebnisse klar an interne und externe Stakeholder und sichern Reproduzierbarkeit der Analysen.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelorabschluss in Data Science, Statistik, Ingenieurwesen, Informatik oder einem vergleichbaren quantitativen Bereich.
• Anwendung statistischer Methoden auf Produktionsdaten und KPI‑basierte Leistungsanalysen.
• Erfahrung in der Analyse großer, komplexer, hoch technischer Datensätze (z. B. Parameter- und Pass/Fail-Produktionsdaten) mit hoher analytischer Genauigkeit.
• Professionelle Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Statistik und Datenanalyse.

Aufgaben

• Interpretierte analytische Einsichten liefern, um datengetriebene Entscheidungsfindung in technischen Bereichen zu unterstützen.
• Komplexe technische Produktionsdaten gegen KPIs analysieren, Muster, Abweichungen, Trends und Korrelationen prüfen.
• Zielgerichtete Ad-hoc-Analysen durchführen, um Ursachen zu identifizieren und bei der Lösung von Produktqualitäts- und Produktionsproblemen zu unterstützen.
• Parametrische und Pass/Fail-Produktionsdaten global verknüpfen, Abhängigkeiten erkennen und systemische Effekte identifizieren.
• Analysenresultate klar kommunizieren für interne und externe Stakeholder mit unterschiedlichem technischen Hintergrund.
• Analytische Strenge, Korrektheit und Reproduzierbarkeit sicherstellen.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide interpreted analytical insights to support data‑driven decision‑making across technical divisions.
• Analyze complex technical production data against defined production KPIs, including validation of patterns, deviations, trends, and correlations.
• Perform targeted ad‑hoc analyses to identify root causes and support resolution of product quality and production issues.
• Correlate parametric and pass/fail production data across the global supply chain to identify dependencies and systemic effects.
• Prepare, structure, and communicate analysis results clearly and effectively for internal and external stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.
• Ensure analytical rigor, correctness, and reproducibility of results in all analyses.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable quantitative field.
• Proven ability to apply statistical methods to production data and KPI‑driven performance analysis.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing large, complex, and highly technical data sets (e.g., parametric and pass/fail production data) with high analytical accuracy.
• Professional‑level English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Solid foundation in statistics and data analytics.

Requirements (nice to have):

• German language skills.
• Six‑Sigma certification (e.g. Greenbelt).
• Production hands‑on experience, collaborated, worked together.
• Experience with Tibco Spotfire or similar.
