Zusammenfassung

Sasol Germany GmbH is seeking a customer service / order management expert in Germany to ensure accurate and timely capturing and execution of customer sales orders. You will provide first line support, resolve inquiries promptly, and enhance the customer experience while collaborating with Marketing & Sales, Supply Chain and Finance teams.

Minimum 5 years in a similar role, strong SAP, MS Office and English skills are essential.

• Advanced knowledge of SAP, MS Office and information systems.
• Experienced in customer service or inside sales with strong attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of chemical operations and products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.

• Very good command of English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Receive, capture & execute sales orders, Debit/Credit, rebates, commission and sample orders in SAP ensuring completeness.
• Monitor the progress of open orders and inform internal functions of deviations.
• Communicate order status including pricing, forecasts and delivery dates with customers.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries within set targets.
• Execute consignment stock processes with reconciliation and invoicing as applicable.
• Issue pro forma invoice & customer quotation coordinating with M&S as applicable.
• Follow up on payment reminders with relevant functions.
• Manage letters of credits in cooperation with respective functions.

Purpose of Job

• Ensure accurate and timeous capturing and execution of customer’s sales orders
• Provide first line support to customer inquiries, resolve customer queries timeously
• Enhance customer experience through customer service
• Collaborate within Sasol (M&S (Marketing und Sales), Supply Chain, IPL (Integrated Planning), QM and Finance teams) to deliver the Sasol value proposition and achieve excellence in customer service

Key Accountabilities

• Receive, capture & execute sales orders, Debit/Credit, rebates, commission and sample orders in SAP ensuring completeness according to Sasol business processes and within Sasol governance framework
• Monitor the progress of open orders, check documents, identify & resolve problems, keep customers and respective internal functions informed of norm deviations
• Actively communicate with customers regard. SAP order status (order confirmation, delivery confirmation, pricing, forecasts, order solicitation, quality of service, dates of delivery)
• Investigate and resolve customer queries within set targets
• Execute consignment stock processes incl. reconciliation and invoicing as applicable
• Issue pro forma invoice & customer quotation in coordination with M&S as applicable
• Ensure and follow up on payment reminders to customers in cooperation with respective functions (M&S, Finance, SC) as applicable
• Management of letters of Credits in cooperation with respective functions as applicable

Interfaces internal: M&S Managers, Sales Managers, Supply Chain, IPL, M&SS Admin, Internal Credit SHERQ, R&D departments

Formal Education

• Commercial education required (depending on country)

Working Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a similar customer service environment

• Advanced knowledge of SAP, MS Office and information systems
• Experienced in customer service or inside sales, with strong attention to detail
• Good knowledge of chemical operations and products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer focus
• Team player with strong intercultural skills and the ability to work across cultures and languages
• Resilience under stress and work pressure, with the ability to manage different tasks in parallel
• Very good command of English, written and spoken; additional language(s) will be an advantage
