Jobbeschreibung

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Contract Development Manager, Provider Contracting based in United States.

This role is responsible for delivering customer contracts and supporting provider contracting initiatives in a complex, business-critical environment. You will own assigned contract documents from initial request through execution, translating approved business terms into accurate and executable language. Working across Legal, Pricing, Finance, Operations, Product, and Business Development, you will help ensure contracts are delivered on time and with strong process controls. The role combines contract drafting, portfolio support, data integrity, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement. You will work with high-volume, time-sensitive requests while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and document quality. This is an opportunity to influence contracting processes while supporting solutions that serve healthcare provider customers.

\

Accountabilities:

  • Own the end-to-end development, revision, quality review, and management of provider agreements, amendments, notices, termination letters, schedules, exhibits, and other customer contract documents.
  • Translate approved business requirements, pricing strategies, discounts, rebates, and contractual terms into clear, accurate, and executable contract language.
  • Prepare contract documents for internal review, legal review, business approval, execution, and downstream implementation while ensuring all required controls and documentation are completed.
  • Support assigned provider portfolios by managing contract requests from intake through completion, balancing business urgency, quality, timing, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Participate in portfolio planning, renewal activities, document reviews, and customer-specific contracting discussions as needed, building expertise across provider segments, product offerings, and recurring contract structures.
  • Maintain accurate contract records within the contract lifecycle management (CLM) environment, ensuring metadata, approvals, document history, executed agreements, and supporting materials are complete and reliable.
  • Follow contracting controls covering intake validation, document creation, review routing, approvals, execution readiness, record retention, and handoff to downstream teams.
  • Support audit, compliance, litigation, or other document-retrieval requests by researching contract records and providing accurate supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Legal, Contract Execution, Government Pricing, Finance, Business Operations, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to resolve questions and keep contract delivery on track.
  • Communicate contract status, risks, dependencies, open decisions, and potential delays clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Identify recurring process issues, data-quality gaps, system limitations, and workflow opportunities, escalating them appropriately and contributing practical recommendations for improvement.
  • Use approved templates, clauses, playbooks, job aids, and standard processes while identifying opportunities to strengthen reusable drafting assets and contracting workflows.
  • Support broader contracting initiatives such as master agreement updates, product launches, pricing or product changes, customer communications, and cross-segment implementation programs.
  • Lead and influence matrixed stakeholders without direct authority, building alignment around shared objectives and maintaining strong client and internal relationships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with the following minimum qualification pathways accepted: doctorate degree; master's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience; bachelor's degree plus 4 years; associate's degree plus 10 years; or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of experience in commercial contracting, sales operations, finance, analytics, or related areas.
  • Experience drafting, editing, reviewing, or managing commercial agreements, amendments, notices, schedules, exhibits, or other contract documentation is strongly preferred.
  • Experience translating business terms, pricing structures, rebate arrangements, discount programs, or commercial requirements into precise written contract language.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, market access, provider contracting, hospital or GPO contracting, sales operations, finance, legal operations, or contract lifecycle management is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CLM platforms such as Conga, DocuSign, or comparable contract management systems, including maintaining contract metadata, approvals, document history, and executed records.
  • Strong business writing, proofreading, analytical, and issue-spotting skills, combined with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to document accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment without compromising quality, compliance, or process discipline.
  • Strong understanding of how business processes and systems interact, with the ability to identify dependencies, anticipate downstream impacts, and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the professional presence to build credibility and rapport with clients, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with Legal, Pricing, Finance, Operations, Business Development, Product, and other partners in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to structure complex information, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions under time pressure.
  • Consultative and collaborative mindset, with the ability to understand business needs and drivers, ask effective questions, influence stakeholders, and work toward common goals.
  • Learning agility and curiosity, with the ability to develop expertise across provider segments, product portfolios, pricing models, and contracting processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements, reusable language opportunities, workflow gaps, and practical recommendations that improve contracting efficiency and consistency.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary range of $118,215.45--$159,938.55 USD, with actual compensation based on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.
  • Full-time, fully remote position within the United States.
