• 2–3 years of experience in content marketing (B2B/tech/startups).
• Strong English and German writing skills.
• Hands-on writing web copy and social media content.
• Basic understanding of SEO and AEO and their impact on content.
• Excellent research, structuring, and storytelling skills.
• Independent, proactive way of working.
• Ability to explain complex topics in both languages.

Your mission

You make sure our content doesn’t just exist – it lands. You turn our strategy into stories that people actually want to read, watch, and share. Across our website, social media, newsletters, and tailored formats, you make Impossible Founders visible as the home for science-based start-ups. You spot what matters in the ecosystem and turn it into content that positions us as the first address for ambitious founders.

Implementing an impact-oriented content strategy

• Drive and further develop the content strategy that builds our visibility and reputation in theDeepTechand science-based start-up world
• Hold operational responsibility for the entire content lifecycle – from idea to publication and impact measurement

Developing and continuously managing the editorial plan

• Build andmaintaina structured editorial calendar across all channels
• Prioritize topics in close collaboration with the CEO, program team, and partners
• Act as a sparring partner for topicselectionand sharpening of story angles

Topic identification and internal sparring

• Establish and run a systematic process for topic identification together with colleagues
• Conduct interviews with the team and founders and turn their insights into strong content pieces
• Create compelling stories based on scientific topics, people, and milestones

Content production

• Write andoptimizeweb copy and landing pages, including SEO-and AEO-focused improvements
• Manage and create content for social media, especially LinkedIn
• Design and manage the newsletter: structure, content, editing, and distribution
• Develop micro-content formats such as posts, short videos, slides, and quotes

Media relations & podcast support

• Support the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager on media relations – research relevant journalists and outlets, help develop story angles, and draft press materials and briefings
• Support research, topic sourcing, and prep work for the CEO podcast and other media formats
• Write press copy

Distribution & reach building

• Ensure content is delivered to the right target groups through the right channels
• Use cross-posting and multipliers to systematically extend our reach

Analysis & optimization

• Track content performance and derive clear, data-based improvements
• Prepare and share KPI reports to steer and refine our content strategy

Your profile

You should love content, be curious, and enjoy turning ideas into stories that move people. If you recognize yourself in most of the points below, we’d really like to get to know you.

What matters most to us

• At least2–3 years of experience in content marketing (ideally with a focus on B2B, tech, or start-ups)
• Very strongEnglishand German skills
• Hands-on experience in writing web copy and social media content
• Basic understanding of SEOand AEOand how it influences content
• Strong research, structuring, and storytelling skills
• An independent, proactive way of working – you see what needs to be done and do it
• Talent for explaining complex topics in a simple, engaging way in both languages

Additionally, it would be a plus if you bring

• Experience in a startup/tech/university environment
• Prior experience supporting media relations or PR work (research, briefings, pitching)
• Knowledge of tools like Canva, HubSpot, LinkedIn Analytics,Webflowand a common CMS
• Experience working with agencies or freelancers
• Genuine interest in DeepTech, science, and innovation – you’re curious and want to understand what’s behind the buzzwords
