Lyceum in Berlin is seeking a compute markets associate to develop and strengthen client and supplier relationships. Your day-to-day will balance active business development, managing partnership negotiations, and sharing market insights with the team.

In a fast-moving compute infrastructure market, you will build credibility in the ecosystem by understanding operational and financial needs of suppliers and buyers.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years GTM, business development, or sales experience
• Proven ability to close commercial relationships (preferably in tech)
• Interest in markets: commodities, energy or any traded asset class is a plus
• High sense of urgency and an operator mentality
• High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
• Confident building with AI tools
• Fluent in English and German
• Available from September 2026

Aufgaben

• Identify, approach and qualify GPU compute suppliers and independent data center operations in Europe and beyond, own the Supplier Outreach pipeline, and build a live view of where European pricing and availability sit week to week.
• Support the compute sales process end-to-end from customer onboarding to first deal closed. Source and onboard AI startups and labs who need access to compute, qualify incoming demand requests and prepare offers for real compute.
• Develop your own playbooks and define processes with the help of AI to build a scalable commercial strategy.
• Manage the Supply Pool, Supplier Outreach and Infrastructure pipelines day to day, and feed clean CRM data into monthly investor reporting.
• Extend our supply-demand matching so that a new capacity block automatically turns into priced offers to every relevant customer - taking that cycle from hours down to minutes.
• Attend conferences, meet customers and suppliers, network at industry events and become a leader in European AI infrastructure.

Your mission

As a compute markets associate you will play a crucial role in developing and strengthening our client and supplier relationships. In the day-to-day, your time will be divided between active business development, managing partnership negotiations, and communicating market insights to the team. The compute infrastructure sector evolves rapidly, and success depends on deep market intelligence and building credibility in the ecosystem. Both suppliers and buyers in the marketplace will value collaborators who understand their operational and financial requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience at a tech start-up, neocloud or hyperscaler or similar firms

• Existing industry relationships with neoclouds, data center operators or GPU providers

• Knowledge of infrastructure marketplace dynamics: capacity reservations, on-demand offering and different pricing models

• Prior experience in scaling commercial operations from 0 to 1 in an emerging company
