The Vehicle Team is seeking a proactive, organised individual with a technical background in aerospace materials to oversee the production and assembly of composite components at Rocket Factory Augsburg. In addition, this Production Engineer role will be responsible for lifecycle management, production integration, continuous improvement initiatives based on lean manufacturing principles, and supporting the development of Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOMs).
The successful candidate will serve as the key link between the Vehicle Engineering and Production teams, driving process improvements, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the vehicle meets quality, cost, and delivery targets within a fast‑paced and evolving environment. You will also play a pivotal role in developing, refining, and standardising manufacturing processes to ensure the products we build are of the highest quality and can be produced consistently and repeatably.
