Jobtailor in Germany is seeking a healthcare coding specialist to guide orientation and ongoing education for all staff involved in coding and documentation. You will help ensure accuracy in coding processes through periodic audits and support departments in meeting targets.

You will serve as a knowledge leader on coding systems, regulations, and reimbursement requirements, conducting staff training and reeducation to maintain high standards.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years minimum coding experience.
• AHIMA CCS/CCS-P/RHIT/RHIA credentials or AAPC credential.
• Completion of college-level coding courses in IDC, CPT4, HCPCS.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of college level courses of coding in IDC, CPT4, and HCPCS verified through AHIMA or AAPC or relevant experience in anatomy and physiology and medical terminology.
• 2 years minimum experience in Coding required.
• AHIMA (CCS, CCS-P, RHIT or RHIA) or AAPC Coding Credential.
• Successful completion of medical terminology course preferred.
• Previous experience working with EPIC preferred.
• Working knowledge of insurance and third‑party billing preferred.
• Computer knowledge and keyboard skills.
