The Center for Sleep Medicine is seeking Telehealth Certified Medical Assistants (CMA/CCMA/NCMA/RMA) to join our growing team in Naperville. This on-site role focuses on administrative and virtual care support with limited in-person interaction.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), ESOP, PTO, PTO, and disability insurance; 4-day work week and employee ownership after one year.

Qualifikationen

• Must be certified or registered Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA/RMA/NCMA, etc.).
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to manage phone and video patient interactions effectively.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical support to patients requiring additional assistance via telehealth appointments.
• Conduct patient sessions via telehealth to support DME usage and adherence.
• Educate patients on proper device usage and the importance of compliance.
• Guide patients step-by-step through device setup and troubleshooting.
• Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Monitor patient progress and identify barriers to adherence.
• Reinforce care plans and provider instructions during patient interactions.
• Communicate patient needs, concerns, or escalations to appropriate clinical staff or providers.
• Accurately document all patient interactions, education, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Maintain timely and complete documentation to support billing.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.
• Assist with tracking patient participation and follow-up needs.

This Telehealth Medical Assistant role focuses onadministrativeandvirtual care support, with verylimited in-person patient interaction.

The Telehealth Medical Assistant will play a key role in supporting patients with DME therapy, including their engagement efforts, particularly for patients using PAP (Positive Airway Pressure) devices.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Location: Naperville, IL (100% on-site role)

Education & Experience:

Required:

• Mustbe a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant(CMA/CCMA/RMA/NCMA, etc.)
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to manage phone and video patient interactions effectively
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred:

• Experience in sleep medicine, PAP therapy, or respiratory care
• Experience with DME
• Familiarity with RPM
• Experience with telehealth or remote patient engagement
