SANY Group in Germany seeks a Regulatory Tracking & Compliance specialist to monitor EU machinery directives, ISO standards, and safety directives across key markets, interpret implications, and issue internal alerts.

You will develop certification plans from design, manage certification projects with TÜV/DNV, train R&D and production teams, and support market access with regulatory inquiries and potential recalls, ensuring products meet regulatory expectations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, transportation engineering or related fields.
• 3+ years of working experience in road regulation, vehicle certification or compliance engineering for construction machinery or commercial vehicles.
• Proficient in understanding and interpreting European road standards, ECE regulations, EU machinery directives and national access rules.
• Familiar with crane road performance, structure limits, certification process and compliance verification methods.
• Strong ability in standard analysis, document preparation and project promotion.
• Fluent English in reading, writing and communication; able to interpret standard documents independently.
• Strong sense of compliance, detail-oriented and good cross-departmental coordination.

Aufgaben

• Global regulation tracking and interpretation across EU, North America, and Asia for construction machinery.
• Develop certification plans and compliance strategies from design stage and maintain product technical documentation.
• Manage certification process with European bodies (TÜV, DNV, etc.), including documentation, tests, audits, and certificates.
• Participate in design reviews, identify compliance risks, and propose design improvements for compliant-by-design products.
• Provide regulatory training to R&D, Quality, Production and other departments; assist in establishing internal product compliance processes.
• Support Market Access with regulatory inquiries from customers and agents; monitor product compliance and handle disputes or recalls.

• Global Regulation Tracking & Interpretation: Continuously monitor regulatory updates (e.g., EU Machinery Directive, ISO standards, EPA emission standards, safety directives) in key markets such as the EU, North America, and Asia related to construction machinery, provide professional interpretation, and issue internal alerts.
• Compliance Strategy Development & Implementation: Develop certification plans and compliance strategies based on product target markets, ensuring products comply with regulations from the design stage, leading the establishment and maintenance of the product technical documentation system.
• Certification Project Management: Interface with European certification bodies (e.g., TÜV, DNV, etc.), manage the entire product certification process including documentation preparation, test coordination, on-site audits, and certificate maintenance.
• Design Phase Compliance Review: Participate in new product design reviews, provide professional input from a regulatory and safety perspective, identify potential compliance risks, and propose design improvements to ensure products are "compliant by design."
• Internal Training & System Development: Provide regulatory training to R&D, Quality, Production, and other departments; assist in establishing and improving the company's internal product compliance management system and processes.
• Market Access Support & Risk Control: Support the Marketing department in addressing technical/regulatory inquiries from customers and agents; monitor the compliance status of launched products; respond to potential compliance disputes or recall events.
