A space technology company in Bremen seeks a CAD & Configuration Design Engineer to create and maintain 3D CAD models for a two-stage spaceplane system. This role requires expertise in 3D CAD software, preferably PTC Creo, and a degree in aerospace engineering. You'll collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, focusing on system architecture and vehicle layouts. The company offers long-term prospects with a permanent contract and a supportive work environment with flexible hours.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.
• Strong experience with professional 3D CAD software (PTC Creo preferred).
• Strong background in using PLM systems (PTC Windchill).

Aufgaben

• Create and maintain 3D CAD models and assemblies.
• Maintain overall vehicle layout and architecture in CAD.
• Integrate changes from system engineering into the master CAD model.
• Generate and maintain master assembly CAD, layouts, drawings, and renderings.
• Support system architecture and trade-off studies.
• Calculate mass, CoG and inertia from CAD data.
