You will model market trends, work cross-functionally with Marketing (Brand, Trade, Finance), and present recommendations to senior management.

• Proficient in BI systems, Excel and PowerPoint.

British American Tobacco Germany has an exciting opportunity for a Business Insights Executive in Hamburg

Be an integral part of the Insights & Foresights team in Central Europe with key focus on creating tangible business value via holistic performance, market and competitor analysis on Germany. Contribute to the S&OP process for respective nicotine category by building & reviewing the Market Share forecast, impact marketing plans by bringing holistic business insights and recommendations to senior management. You will be working cross-functionally and in close collaboration with the Business Insights Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Design and conduct analysis (returning standards & ad-hoc) based on numerous available performance data sources
• Modelling market & consumer trends into performance estimations
• Closely cooperate with all marketing functions (Brand, Trade, Finance) to achieve a comprehensive interpretation of performance data
• Present results and recommendations in different forums
• Steer and cooperate with external agencies

What are we looking for?

• >2 years’ Marketing experience in an analytical function
• University degree or equivalent experience specialised in marketing and/or statistics/analytics/mathematics
• Good knowledge in working with BI systems as well as outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Distinct ability to think analytically and strategically with strong affinity for numbers
• Structured, organized and independent working style with attention to quality, detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Flexibility, high level of resilience and independency
