Henkel is seeking a senior business development professional in Düsseldorf to develop and implement strategic plans for expanding market share in the automotive electronics space. You will conduct market research, prepare proposals, and align cross-functional teams to drive growth.

The role emphasizes sustainability, long-term innovation planning, and building strong customer relationships with global partners. Fluency in English and German is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business Administration or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in automotive or electronics (preferably automotive electronics) industry.
• Fluent English and ideally very good German language skills for effective interaction with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends within the automotive electronics industry.
• Prepare and present compelling business proposals, outlining value propositions and negotiating terms to secure new business opportunities.
• Develop a 5+ years plan defining innovation opportunities in line with the strategy and customer roadmaps.
• Drive sustainability by deriving concrete innovation areas to address the sustainability challenges and needs of the customers.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers and external partners, understanding their needs and providing tailor-made support to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, application engineering and product development, to align business strategies and achieve collective goals.
• Support sales by providing guidance and tactics for targeting specific applications and customers.
