Jobbeschreibung

• You hold overall ownership of the master data model and attribute logic across all relevant domains. You define field attributes, mandatory fields, and validation rules.


• In collaboration with business units and IT, you determine the source-of-record (SoR) for master data objects, document data flows across business processes, and specify requirements for synchronization logic, replication rules, and error handling in close coordination with integration teams.


• You take responsibility for the handover points at all MDM-relevant business interfaces between systems such as SAP, PIM, CRM, WMS, PLM, and other systems. You reduce complexity, proactively drive the elimination of technical workarounds, and support data migrations from extraction through validation.


• You design and document end-to-end master data processes. You define workflows for the creation, enrichment, approval, and distribution of data and actively close process gaps across all domains (product, supplier, customer, finance, logistics).


• You define data quality rules across systems, monitor MDM metrics (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• You have at least 6 years of solid professional experience in business data architecture, MDM, or SAP master data management and have demonstrably modeled master data structures in large transformation projects.


• Ideally, you have a strong understanding of the FMCG, food, dietary supplements, or retail industries.


• You possess in-depth knowledge of SAP master data (material, business partner, pricing, BOM, etc.) and are highly familiar with PIM and PLM systems. A clear understanding of CRM, WMS, and e-commerce landscapes and the management of distributed data structures completes your profile.


• You have a highly analytical and structured mindset and can translate complex technical issues into understandable terms for business stakeholders.


• You work independently with a quality-driven approach. You are a strong team player and fluent in German and English.
