Vattenfall is seeking a Business Controller to join the Business Control team for the E-Mobility Business Unit. In a central finance role you will drive monthly reporting, consolidate results across countries, and deliver actionable insights to senior management.

You will lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning, partner with accounting and finance functions across borders, and push for improved governance and automation of reporting tools.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of experience in Business Controlling or FP&A roles.
• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Experience with consolidated reporting, forecasting, and international planning.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial data into strategic insights for senior management.

• Identify opportunities to automate and enhance reporting tools and KPIs.
• Contribute to cross-functional improvement initiatives for E-Mobility growth.

We are looking for a Business Controller to join the Business Control team within Vattenfall's rapidly growing E-Mobility Business Unit.

In this central controlling role, you will be responsible for providing insights into the overall financial performance of the Business Unit. You will act as a key partner to senior management, ensuring high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, planning, and performance steering across multiple countries and business areas.

Working closely with Business Control colleagues, Finance teams, and senior stakeholders, you will help translate financial results into actionable insights that support the continued growth and development of Vattenfall's E-Mobility business.

What will you do?

You Will

• Collaborate closely with Business Controllers, Accounting, and Finance teams across different countries.
• Identify opportunities to automate and enhance reporting tools, KPIs, and management information.
• Contribute to cross-functional improvement initiatives that support the continued growth of E-Mobility.

You will report to the Director of Business Control E-Mobility and work closely with stakeholders across multiple countries and disciplines.

Qualifications

You are able to combine strong analytical capabilities with a strategic mindset and enjoy understanding how financial performance connects to broader business objectives. You are comfortable working with large amounts of data, creating structure in complex environments, and translating financial outcomes into meaningful insights for senior stakeholders.

You can switch effortlessly between detailed financial analysis and high-level performance discussions. With a proactive and collaborative approach, you build strong relationships across the organisation and contribute to continuous improvement.

We Believe You Bring

• At least 7 years of experience in Business Controlling, Financial Controlling, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or a similar finance-related role.
• A master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with consolidated reporting, forecasting, and business planning in a complex international organisation.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and management teams.
• The ability to translate complex financial information into clear and actionable recommendations.
• Advanced Excel and presentation skills; experience with SAP and reporting tools is highly valued.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Experience within the utilities, energy, infrastructure, or other asset-intensive industries is considered an advantage.
