ImoGate is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Product team in Munich. You will bridge customers, Product, and Engineering to turn complex data and business challenges into tangible product outcomes.

The role involves translating needs into user journeys, collaborating on data models and APIs, and guiding discovery through delivery. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in similar roles, with strong analytical skills and a fluency in English. Hybrid work is offered in Munich.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in a Business Analyst or similar role in SaaS or data-driven products.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make complex business and data processes understandable.
• Practical understanding of data workflows, APIs, integrations, data quality, and system dependencies.
• Experience with user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing and UAT.
• Fluent English and a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Product team in Munich and help bring the next generation of SmartGate to life. You will work at the intersection of customers, Product, and Engineering, turning complex business and data challenges into clear, valuable product outcomes.

This role suits someone who can move confidently between domain conversations, data and integration topics, product discovery, and delivery detail.

What you'll do:

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Functional Consultant, or in a similar role in SaaS or data-driven products.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make complex business and data processes understandable.
• Practical understanding of data workflows, APIs, integrations, data quality, and system dependencies.
• Experience with user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing and UAT.
• Fluent English and a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Based in Munich or willing to relocate, with flexibility to work in a hybrid environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience in investment management, real estate, FinTech, data platforms, or related B2B workflows.
• Familiarity with Figma, Miro, Balsamiq, Jira, or Confluence.
• German or another European language.
