Quantum Machines seeks a Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services powering its quantum-control platform. You will own features end-to-end and collaborate with remote teams to scale our systems across distributed environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in backend development, are proficient in Go, Python, or Kotlin, and comfortable with Linux, Ansible, and network protocols. English communication and cross-site collaboration are essential for success.

• Passionate about technology and able to dive into new technologies quickly.
• Strong engineering capabilities with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a cross-geography, multi-site environment.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
