N26 is looking for an engineer to join our team in Berlin, contributing to a modern digital banking platform. You will work across discovery, design, development, testing and deployment in a fast-paced environment with a diverse, international team.

Responsibilities include maintaining scalable services, embracing security, and sharing knowledge while staying aligned with industry trends. We offer a relocation package and visa support for those needing it.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems.
• Sound understanding of microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Appreciation of working in a modern cloud architecture, preferably with AWS.

About the opportunity

You will work in the Financial Empowerment domain. In this role, you will:

• Do discovery, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a thriving environment.

• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology.
• Propose new findings during our Get Stuff Done Days (GSDD).

What you need to be successful:

• Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (note: experience of Kotlin would be a plus).
• Sound understanding of microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Appreciation of working in a modern cloud architecture, preferably with AWS.
