Overview

Mercor is seeking Automated CS Planning PhDs and Domain Experts for a premier project with a top AI lab. This role pays between $55-80/hour.

Responsibilities

• Contribute subject matter expertise to a cutting‑edge project involving state‑of‑the‑art large language models.
• Create high‑quality data that informs the future of AI innovation.
• Propose challenging problems in your domain that will drive model development.

Qualifications

• PhD or advanced degree (or equivalent research experience) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Operations Research, ideally with a focus on automated planning or symbolic AI.
• High attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Screening Process

Short interview and task (~20‑30 min). The company will pay for up to 1 hour of onboarding time, including this and onboarding videos if you are hired.
