Bucknell University is seeking an Athletics Academics Coordinator on our on-campus team. The role supports student-athletes’ academic and personal development within the Student-Athlete Enrichment program, reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director/SWA.
The position requires a Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related field, plus multiple years of experience in coaching, advising, and supporting students on executive functioning skills.

Job Summary:
The Athletics Academic Coordinator position serves to support the academic and personal development of student-athletes as part of our Student-Athlete Enrichment program. This position reports to the Senior Associate Athletic Director/SWA, and will also work closely with the Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Enrichment, campus advisors, and the Teaching and Learning Center. This role will assess the academic and holistic needs of our student-athletes and will coordinate specialized programs and services that allow students to develop as independent, self-reliant leaders and learners. Other services may include developing individual study plans and coaching on other aspects that may affect student retention and academic success. This position is part of the Department of Athletics and Recreation at Bucknell University, a member of the NCAA Division I (FCS in Football) and the Patriot League for 23 of 27 varsity sports. Candidates are required to have the ability to adhere to and
comply with NCAA, Patriot League, and University rules and regulations.

The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate’s credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
