ABB Smart Power seeks a capable Project Manager to lead assigned projects from contract to final acceptance. You will coordinate across sales, design, procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication and a customer-focused mindset in a global context. The position involves handling project changes and maintaining ABB/Customer relationships while driving project success and team spirit.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Engineering background encouraged (Electrical/Automation).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Your role and responsibilities

Manage the assigned projects to ensure the fulfillment of all project goals, in terms of on-time, on-cost and on-quality deliveries.

This role is contributing to the EL Smart Power business in Xiamen China

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Project execution from contract signed until final acceptance
• Monitor project schedules and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of all project documents.
• Coordinate across multiple departments, including： customers, sales, design, procurement, production, quality, after-sales, and finance—throughout the entire project lifecycle from contract payment to final on-site delivery.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Manage project changes by evaluating cost and schedule impacts and executing corresponding change contracts.
• Build and maintain ABB/Customer relationship / Ensure Customer satisfaction
• Manage/lead project team to ensure project success and team spirit
• Ensure quality/continuous performance

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Engineering background, preferably Electrical Engineering or Automation.
• Familiar with project management tools (e.g. MS-Project, SAP).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Engineering Package (E-house or related product) experience is plus.
• Outstanding communication skills and a sense of teamwork.
• Customer-oriented and highly responsible.
