Grüns is rapidly expanding and seeks an Associate, Finance and Strategy to own monthly business reviews, budgeting, and trusted financial models. You will work directly with the Head of Finance to sharpen the company’s financial infrastructure and enable strategic bets.

This fully remote HQ role prefers candidates in Pacific or Central time zones and involves bi-annual offsites for IRL connection.

Qualifikationen

• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance.
• Strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities.

About the role

Grüns is scaling fast, and looking to bring on the next Associate, Finance and Strategy team member. This role owns the operating cadence that keeps the business honest: monthly business reviews, variance analysis, budgeting, and the models leadership and investors actually trust. You’ll work directly with our Head of Finance to take ownership of core financial infrastructure, freeing up senior bandwidth for the bigger strategic bets. If you want real ownership over the numbers that drive decisions (not just a seat building someone else’s slides) this is that role.

This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment, and we come together on a bi-annual basis for offsites where we connect IRL. We’re looking for someone based in Pacific or Central time zones.

In this role, you will:

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance
• Demonstrates strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities
• Excels at creating clear, compelling presentations for diverse audiences
• Is fluent in Excel and PowerPoint, and comfortable using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT as part of daily work
• Possesses SQL knowledge with R and/or Python experience (preferred)
• Takes ownership of projects and drives them to completion
• Challenges conventions and pushes boundaries to find innovative solutions
• Shows enthusiasm for learning and professional development
• Demonstrates agility in problem-solving and prioritization
• Communicates concisely and effectively with various stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits:

At Grüns, we’re committed to providing a competitive total compensation package — grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is $115,000-$130,000 depending on experience, paired with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and growth of our team.
