Zusammenfassung

Revolution Medicines is seeking an Associate Director Corporate Affairs Germany to build and execute the communications strategy in Germany. You will support the Senior Director in translating the corporate strategy into effective initiatives and ensure RevMed is a credible partner in the German healthcare market.

You will oversee external and internal comms, manage relationships with media and stakeholders, and collaborate with Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient

Qualifikationen

  • 8+ years in Communications/PR, pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience advantageous but not required.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing national-level communications strategies.
  • Strong writing ability and storytelling skills.
  • Knowledge of German healthcare system and regulatory framework.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

  • Developing and executing the communications strategy for Germany in alignment with Senior Director and global teams.
  • Develop stakeholder-centric communications and consistent messaging of RevMed's vision and patient-centered approach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, trade press, and communications stakeholders in Germany.
  • Lead press and public relations activities: drafting statements, Q&As, and external materials.
  • Strengthen RevMed's visibility and reputation in the German market.
  • Prepare leaders for external stakeholder and media engagements with a consistent presence.
  • Develop a social media strategy.
  • Lead internal communications and change-management support.
  • Contribute to strategic budgeting for agencies and vendors.
  • Oversee external agencies and project-based partners as needed.
  • Measure effectiveness using defined KPIs and metrics.
  • Coordinate messaging across Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Advocacy.

Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Corporate Affairs Germany, this individual is responsible for building and executing RevMed's communications strategy in Germany. The Associate Director Corporate Affairs Germany supports the Senior Director in translating the overall Corporate Affairs strategy into concrete, effective communications initiatives, playing a key role in establishing RevMed as a credible and valued partner in the German healthcare market. The incumbent is accountable for the operational execution of defined communications objectives, using allocated resources and budgets efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing the communications strategy for Germany in close alignment with the Senior Director, Corporate Affairs Germany, as well as the European and global Communications teams.
  • Developing stakeholder-centric communication strategies and consistent messaging to effectively convey RevMed's vision, mission, and patient-centered approach.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with media, trade press, and relevant communications-focused stakeholders in Germany.
  • Developing and steering press and public relations activities, including drafting statements, Q&As, and external communications materials.
  • Strengthening the visibility and reputation of RevMed and its leadership in the German market.
  • Preparing and supporting the Senior Director and other leaders for external stakeholder and media engagements, ensuring a consistent and compelling presence.
  • Developing a strategy for social media.
  • Leading internal communications, including regular updates, milestone communications, and support for change management processes.
  • Contributing to the strategic allocation of the communications budget, including the selection and management of specialized agencies and vendors.
  • Overseeing external agencies, consultants, and project-based partners as required.
  • Measuring and assessing the effectiveness of communications activities using defined KPIs and metrics.
  • Collaborating closely across Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Advocacy to ensure consistent messaging across all functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and RevMed's ethical standards across all government affairs activities.
Required Skills, Experience and Education
  • 8+ years of experience in Communications/PR; experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, as well as agency or corporate experience, is advantageous but not required for candidates with demonstrated expertise.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication strategies at national level.
  • Good understanding of the German healthcare system and the regulatory and industry-specific framework relevant to communications work.
  • Strong communication skills, excellent writing ability, and a good sense of storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently and in a solution-oriented manner, setting priorities autonomously in a dynamic environment.
  • High social competence and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Native-level German and excellent business English, written and spoken.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and common business applications.
