SOSi, based in Wiesbaden, Germany, is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to support an IT program in Europe. The role centers on maintaining asset records for hardware and software and using a government system to track assets across domains.

You will work with domain property managers on asset accountability, oversee receipt, storage, issue, and turn-in of equipment, and monitor maintenance contracts to ensure continuous coverage and compliance with DoD standards.

Job Description

Overview:

The SOSi team is growing in Europe and we areseeking an experienced Asset Manager to support an IT program based in Wiesbaden, Germany. SOSi is a family-owned government contractor with a long history of providing technical solutions to customers performing challenging missions.

• Responsible for maintenance of accurate asset management records for all IT hardware and software.
• Utilize an existing Government system to track all IT hardware and software assets within each domain.
• Assist domain property managers with maintenance of domain IT asset property accountability for all domain IT assets.
• Ensure efficient and effective receipt, storage, issue, delivery, and turn-in of equipment and software.
• Support the existing request, approval, delivery, and excess process for each domain-level activity.
• Provide hand receipts for moved, deployed, or issued IT equipment in accordance with domain-level policies.
• Electronically scan all equipment moved with the domain-level activity for any issuance, delivery, relocation, and excess activities.
• Track maintenance and support renewals and expirations and ensure that maintenance contracts remain in good standing with no lapses in continuous coverage.
• Compile and maintain inventory of IT system assets and their corresponding contracts/agreements.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Asset Management, or Life Cycle Maintenance of IT software/hardware required.

Preferred Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree and 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR; An Associate's degree and 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; A major certification and 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR; 11 years of recent specialized experience.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT level II (or higher) compliant.
• Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.
