Apera is recruiting an Applied AI Engineer for a seed-stage start-up building AI for autonomous industrial operations. Munich office opening; early engineers will directly integrate software with customers on-site, with regular travel.

We seek an early-career engineer (0–5 years) who has shipped AI/ML into production and is strong in Python and ML systems. You will join a small team with direct access to founders, with a generous package including base, bonus and equity.

We're recruiting an Applied AI Engineer for a seed-stage start-up building AI for autonomous industrial operations.

The company is backed by some of the world's top VCs and the founder has 10+ years in industrial AI. They're opening a Munich office and need founding engineers to integrate the software on the ground with customers. You'd be one of the first hires in Munich, so there's real scope for growth and progression as the team builds out.

As an Applied AI Engineer you'll own the customer problem end to end: understand it, shape the solution, and integrate with their data and systems. There'll be regular travel and you'll spend a good amount of time on site.

We're looking for an early-career engineer (0-5 years) who has shipped AI or ML into production and is comfortable in front of customers. Strong Python and ML systems experience is essential.

You'd be joining a small team with no layers and direct access to the founders - a rare chance to get in early at a company solving real, physical problems.

Generous package on offer - base, bonus and equity.

Based in Munich (on-site/hybrid, with regular travel). You'll need to be eligible to work in Germany - EU citizenship or Blue Card holders only, please.
