United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a hybrid Product Manager/Engineer to sit with customers, understand transformation pain points, and design and build end-to-end solutions on our Process Intelligence Platform.

You will prototype on the platform, wire up data, compose AI-driven applications, and iterate with users who will actually use the product. This role operates in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where shipping matters more than perfect processes.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a product engineer, technical product manager, founding/forward-deployed engineer, functional consultant or comparable hybrid builder role.
• A track record of building coherent product offerings, not just isolated features.
• Technical and tech-savvy: comfortable in data and prototyping, able to pick up new tools quickly.
• Preferrably knowledge in SAP system composition (functional and/or SAP base).
• Understanding of modernizing applications and enterprise system landscapes.
• Good communication and ability to work closely with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong English; German is a plus.

The Team

The the company Business Apps IT is a team of product enthusiasts and data engineers that focuses on developing best‑in class composable AI solutions in the domain of System Transformations (migrations such as SAP ECC to S/4, introduction of new software, system landscape consolidation, etc.). Business Apps are purpose‑built solutions created for a specific line of business, addressing most impactful pain points in their respective domain. The solutions are best practice examples of how the company is used in new, innovative ways that push the boundaries of our platform. The team has a great balance of technical skills to build solutions paired with a customer focus and product management mindset to create meaningful products widely adopted across our customer base.

The Role

We're looking for a hybrid between a product manager and an engineer. Someone who can sit with a customer, understand a transformation pain point, and then go design and build the solution together with the rest of the team rather than handing it off. You'll operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where shipping quickly matters more than perfect process, and where the line between \"designing the product\" and \"building the product\" is intentionally blurry. You get hands‑on: prototyping on the platform, wiring up data, composing AI‑driven applications, and iterating directly with the people who'll use them.

You'll be at the frontier of how the company reimagines enterprise system transformation. Turning a bold vision into working products that customers adopt. The work you'll do

Your mission is to make the vision of AI powered system transformation a reality. Building products that turn the cutting edge capabilities of the the company Process Intelligence platform from strategy into solutions customers run on.

• Build and ship purpose‑built but flexible solutions that span the full enterprise modernization journey

• Leverage the most cutting‑edge capabilities of the the company platform and compose them into coherent, deployable solutions

• Work hands‑on with frontier AI development tools that plug natively into the platform, using them to accelerate how you build, enrich, and deploy solutions

• Move fluidly between customer, prototype, and production: discover the pain point, build the thing, put it in front of users, and iterate fast

• Drive all steps within the product development lifecycle from ideation to product development to scaling solutions across all the company customers

• Partner with platform product managers, engineers and partners to influence the underlying the company capabilities your solutions depend on

• Collaborate with GTM, UX, and customers to ensure what you build actually gets adopted and scales across the customer base

The qualifications you need

• Proven experience as a product engineer, technical product manager, founding/forward‑deployed engineer, functional consultant or comparable hybrid builder role

• A track record of building coherent product offerings, not just isolated features. You think in terms of the whole solution and how the pieces fit together

• Technical and tech‑savvy: comfortable in data (SQL, PQL, Python, MCP, Agents), able to prototype and build, and quick to pick up new tools and platforms

• Preferrably, demonstrated knowledge in SAP system composition (functional and/or SAP base)

• Demonstrated knowledge of what it means to modernize applications and whole enterprise system landscapes

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture (system landscapes, capabilities, integrations) is a plus

• Thrives in ambiguity with an entrepreneurial mindset. Self‑directed, biased toward action, and able to make progress without a fully defined roadmap

• Excellent communication skills and the willingness to work very closely with customers and cross‑functional stakeholders

• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English (German is a plus)
