Arbio is hiring an AP & Treasury Specialist to own the money-in-motion processes. You will manage accounts payable, spend management, and day-to-day treasury across our multi-entity setup in Germany and nearby markets.

You’ll work hands-on with DATEV, Moss, and Qonto, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient cash management while seeking automation opportunities and process improvements.

Qualifikationen

• 2–4 years in accounts payable, treasury or finance operations.
• Hands-on bookkeeping in DATEV; independently book and reconcile creditor accounts.
• Solid German accounting knowledge (DATEV/DUO, SEPA, VAT basics).
• Experience with spend management and banking platforms (Moss, Qonto) and strong Excel.
• Fluent German and English.

• The full AP cycle end to end: invoice processing and coding in Moss and DATEV.
• Payment runs with a second approver as a four-eyes check.
• Redesign processes using AI tools for automation of coding and reconciliation.
• Maintain daily liquidity visibility across entities and banks.
• Manage supplier payments, landlord payouts, payroll transfers, tax payments.
• Handle bank relationships and account setups.
• Close books monthly with accruals and reconciliations.
• Manage city/accommodation tax across DE & AT end-to-end.

Arbio is a fast-growing short-term rental and property management group operating 16 legal entities across Germany, Austria and the UK (9 DE, 5 AT, 2 UK), with more entities being onboarded. Our finance function runs real volume across multiple banks, currencies and tools — and we're building it into something that scales without scaling headcount.

We're looking for someone to own the money-in-motion side of that: accounts payable, spend management and day-to-day treasury.

Job Requirements

• 2–4 years in accounts payable, treasury or finance operations, ideally in a multi-entity or high-volume environment
• Hands-on bookkeeping experience — you can independently book and reconcile creditor accounts in DATEV; this is a core requirement, not a nice-to-have
• Solid grasp of German accounting and compliance (DATEV/DUO, GoBD, SEPA, VAT basics, city/accommodation tax)
• Experience with spend management and banking platforms (Moss, Qonto or similar) and strong Excel skills
• Sharp attention to detail, ownership mindset, and the ability to prioritise under deadline pressure
• A process-improvement instinct — you spot manual, repetitive work and want to streamline it
• Real interest in AI-powered automation (AI-assisted coding, reconciliation, Moss and similar tools) — you'd rather build an agent than maintain a spreadsheet
• Fluent German and English

Job Responsibilities

• The full AP cycle, end to end — invoice processing and coding in Moss through complete creditor bookkeeping and reconciliation in DATEV; this ledger is yours, no hand-off to Accounting
• Payment runs released together with a second approver as a four-eyes check — you code and prepare, someone else releases
• Real room to build — you don't just run the process, you get to redesign it: automating coding, reconciliation and payment prep with AI tools instead of repeating the same manual steps every month
Cash, always in view — daily liquidity across every entity and bank account, with enough foresight that nothing catches us off guard
• The full payment cycle in motion — supplier payments, landlord and owner payouts, payroll transfers, tax payments, ad-hoc funding
• Bank relationships and account setup — you're the one the banks call
• A clean close every month — accruals, reconciliations, and books that hold up under any audit
• City/accommodation tax across DE & AT, handled end to end, not chased down last-minute
• A standing bridge to Accounting — you own the ledger, they spot-check it, no duplicate work
