Avanade Inc. is seeking an AI Software Engineer (Full stack, Frontend, Backend) to design, develop, and integrate AI-enabled solutions into modern applications. You will work hands-on across the full stack and may lead small development teams.

The role focuses on integrating Generative AI capabilities, building AI agents, and collaborating with product owners, designers, and architects to deliver high-quality software within multidisciplinary teams. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional software or full-stack development experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI and Generative AI tools in application development.
• Proven experience designing and deploying Generative AI agents or AI-powered features.
• Strong front-end experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid backend/API development with Python, .NET Core, or Node.js.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of containers and container orchestration.
• Azure or other major cloud platforms experience.
• REST APIs, microservices, and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in German and English is mandatory.

Your Role

As an AI Software Engineer (Full stack, Frontend, Backend), you design, develop, and integrate AI-enabled and Generative AI-powered solutions into modern applications. You work hands-on across the full stack while applying AI technologies to enhance user experiences, automate processes, and deliver measurable business value. Depending on your experience, you may also lead small development teams, mentor colleagues, and contribute to solution design and technical decision-making. You collaborate closely with product owners, designers, architects, and other engineers as part of multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience 2+ years of professional experience in software or full-stack development Hands-on experience using AI and Generative AI tools in application development Proven experience designing and deploying Generative AI agents or AI-powered features Strong experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js Solid backend/API development experience with Python, .NET Core, Node.js Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. SQL Server, Cosmos DB) Understanding of containers and container orchestration Experience with Azure or other major cloud platforms Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and DevOps practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindsetFluency in German and English are a mandatory requirement
