Zusammenfassung

Württembergische Würth Group sucht eine/n AI Product Owner, um datengetriebene AI-Produkte von der Idee bis zur weltweiten Einführung zu gestalten und umzusetzen.

Sie arbeiten eng mit Data Scientists, Fachbereichen und Engineering-Teams zusammen, nutzen agile Methoden und verantworten Projekte, die Umsatz, Kundenbindung und Wallet-Share steigern.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Masterstudium in einer quantitativen Fachrichtung (z.B. Informatik, Wirtschafts­infor­matik, Statistik, Engineering, Economics).
• Mindestens 2–3 Jahre Erfahrung als AI-Product-Owner oder in einer vergleichbaren Rolle.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Datenaufbereitung, -modellierung, -analyse und -visualisierung.

Aufgaben

• Komplexe Geschäftsprobleme in skalierbare Data-/AI-Produkte übersetzen und von der Ideenphase bis zur Implementierung begleiten.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Fachbereichen, Data Scientists und Engineers unter Anwendung agiler Methoden.
• Internationale Piloten und Rollouts steuern und messbare Ergebnisse erzielen (Umsatz, Kunden- engagement, Wallet-Share).
• Mit externen Partnern (z. B. IPAI, UnternehmerTUM) zusammenarbeiten, um AI-Fähigkeiten zu erweitern.

Your Responsibilities – Shaping the Future Together

• Translate complex business challenges into scalable data and AI products, guiding them from ideation to implementation. Use cases span pricing intelligence, sales rep activity planning and shop assortment optimization.
• Collaborate closely with business experts, data scientists, and engineers, applying agile methodologies to build high-quality solutions.
• Lead international pilots and rollouts, ensuring products generate measurable results such as top-line growth, stronger customer engagement and retention, and/or a higher share of wallet per customer.
• Work with external partners and third parties, including organizations like IPAI or UnternehmerTUM, to extend Würth’s AI capabilities and unlock new value.
• Contribute your expertise to a culture of curiosity, continuous learning, integrity, and mutual responsibility.

• Master's degree in a quantitative field, (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or related field).
• At least two to three years of professional experience as an AI product owner.
• Solid understanding of data preparation, modelling, analysis and visualization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies, SQL, Python and visualization tools such as PowerBI.
• Foundational understanding of MLOps, DevOps or software engineering principles is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to operate across multiple cross-functional teams and an array of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking and high affinity for data.
• Proactive, curious mindset with a passion for innovation.
• Fluency in English. German language skills is a bonus.
