Vicoland seeks an ambitious, commercially driven leader with SAP ecosystem knowledge to shape AI-driven software for Vicos and enterprise projects. You will develop AI agents and integrated workflows on our AI-first SaaS platform, collaborating with product management and business development to drive growth and impact.

You’ll lead design-to-deployment efforts, mentor engineers, and champion cutting-edge AI features while operating with autonomy in a remote-friendly, international team.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in developing AI agents and integrating them into business workflows.
• Knowledge of Claude Code or Cursor for agent development.
• Production-grade software experience with AI components (LLMs, embeddings, PyTorch/TensorFlow, RAG pipelines).
• Ability to choose the right tech stack for a given problem.
• Demonstrated autonomy and the ability to collaborate with product owners and CTO.

Vicoland gives the professional services market a new dimension: Virtual Companies – "Vicos". We invented Vicos as a new type of supplier, more efficient than traditional professional services firms (consultancies, system integrators, agencies etc.). On our AI-driven SaaS platform, freelance experts team up to act like real companies, competing successfully for large enterprise projects.

Already, 120+ Vicos with thousands of freelancers work on projects for enterprise clients like BASF, Miele, Siemens or Daimler and many SME. Forbes and Forrester have named Vicoland as a leading force transforming the market.

Our SAP-certified platform is key to our success, providing the full digital infrastructure for forming and operating Vicos: marketing, finance, legal, organization.

An important focus of our growth lies in SAP services. Many of our Vicos focus on areas ranging from SAP S/4HANA transformations to highly specific SAP application modules. We are therefore looking for an ambitious, commercially driven leader with SAP ecosystem knowledge who wants to combine sales excellence with entrepreneurial impact.

Tasks

• Develop AI-agentic solutions from scratch or integrating existing agents and foundational technologies. This involves close cooperation with our Product Management as well as our Business Development teams.
• Use AI to aggressively ship high-quality code. Architect and build AI‑first software solutions for complex user‑stories: scalable, robust, maintainable.
• Work closely with stakeholders—including product management and UX design—to deliver end‑to‑end innovations.
• Own the full development pipeline: from technical design and development, through deployment, to production monitoring.
• Lead architectural discussions, code‑reviews, retrospectives; mentor fellow engineers.
• Champion AI‑powered features: integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, embeddings and deep learning frameworks to unlock business value.

Requirements

• Have experience in developing AI agents and integrating them into business workflows.
• We expect you to be on top of the latest tools, models and trends in AI-assisted software engineering. We expect you to be amazing at prompting, to know when to leverage different models, and to have first‑hand experience with Claude Code or Cursor.
• Strong hands‑on record of building production‑grade software, preferably with AI components (LLMs, embeddings, PyTorch/TensorFlow, RAG pipelines, autonomous agents).
• A truly agnostic approach to stack and tools: you pick the right tech for the problem—not vice‑versa.
• Exceptional autonomy: able to self‑drive, yet know when to collaborate and elevate.
• Ability to thoughtfully challenge ideas and drive constructive discussions (colleagues, product owners, CTO).
• A strong, respectful team player: highly autonomous but grounded in humility and partnership.
• You reside within ±3 hours of Central European Time (to enable effective collaboration).

Bonus

• Prior experience integrating AI into SaaS business workflows.
• Familiarity with modern AI‑tooling ecosystem (agents, memory systems, vector databases).
• Experience leading a tech team or architecting across the stack—from frontend to infrastructure.
