adesso Finland is seeking an AI Engineer to drive AI opportunities in diverse customer projects, from roadmaps and use cases to production-ready solutions. You will work closely with customers, adesso experts, and an international AI network.

The role blends technical implementation with business understanding, supporting hybrid work and leveraging a broad Finnish and international expert network for delivery and growth.

What will you be doing?

As an AI Engineer, you will work in diverse customer projects where you help clients identify new opportunities for utilizing AI and put them into practice. Projects may include, for example, planning AI roadmaps, defining use cases, and implementing solutions related to generative AI and machine learning.

You will work closely with customers, adesso experts, and international stakeholders. You will also participate in customer discussions during the sales phase and provide your own perspective on how AI can be utilized in customers' businesses.

You will join the Finnish Data & AI team, which includes data architects, integration experts, and analytics specialists. Additionally, you will have the support of the adesso Group's international AI and data expert network.

What kind of expert are we looking for?

We are looking for a professional enthusiastic about AI solutions who wants to combine technical expertise, understanding of customer business, and practical implementation in customer projects. You enjoy customer-facing work, can identify AI opportunities in business, and are able to turn ideas into practical implementations.

You may be a more experienced professional or an expert earlier in your career, as long as you can work independently in a customer environment and drive things forward proactively.

Requirements for the applicant:

• Experience working with AI, data, or machine learning solutions
• Python skills and experience building AI solutions in modern cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Ability to discuss with business stakeholders and consult customers on AI opportunities
• Relevant university degree
• Fluent English skills

Additionally considered an advantage:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure AI services
• Databricks or Snowflake expertise
• Experience with generative AI architectures (e.g., RAG, agents, LLM orchestration) and their application in production implementations
• Understanding of the requirements for production-level GenAI solutions (quality, cost, security, scalability)
• Previous experience in consulting
• Experience in customer work during the bidding phase

Practical details:

In this permanent and full-time position, you will be employed directly by adesso Finland. We hope you can start as soon as possible, but the exact start date will be agreed upon with the selected person. We work in a hybrid model at the Helsinki office, at customer sites, and remotely.
