Zusammenfassung

Nova Biomedical is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join our shared services finance team in Frankfurt. The role supports EU/UK customer invoicing and collections across multiple entities and currencies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The successful candidate will manage cash allocations, resolve invoice discrepancies, support portals, and assist with month-end closing while maintaining high data integrity in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifikationen

  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable controls, collections, invoice matching, reconciliations, and month-end activities.
  • An understanding of VAT and coding transactions with appropriate tax codes.
  • Experience with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA (FI and SD) is preferred; NetSuite experience is a bonus.

Aufgaben

  • Assist AR team with day-to-day processing of customer invoices in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Support cash allocation activities and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with customer invoicing portals and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Reconcile customer statements and address queries with customers.
  • Handle credit control, payment application, and debt collection via email and phone.
  • Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve invoice queries.
  • Create new customer accounts and perform credit checks where relevant.
  • Support month-end processes and ad hoc financial transactions.

Job Summary

Nova Biomedical is a dynamic, fast paced Life Sciences Company looking for a new member of the finance team to support our international expansion plans. We are looking for an individual who can work as part of our shared service team and thrives on the Accounts Receivable tasks.

Working within the shared service team, to ensure that all our EU/UK customer invoices and collections across the multiple entities and currencies are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills. They will also have a high level of commitment and initiative, a desire to make a difference and be a proven team player.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the AR team with the day-to-day processing of customer invoices in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy
  • Support on accounts receivable cash allocation activities, ensuring accuracy
  • Support customer invoicing portals, monitoring invoices status and assisting in the resolution of discrepancies or issues
  • Reconcile customer statements, investigating any queries directly with the customer
  • Credit control including payment application and chasing debtors by email and phone
  • Communicate with internal colleagues, external customers to resolve queries associated with invoices
  • Creation of new customer accounts, carrying out credit checks where relevant
  • Provide month end support to the finance team by process adhoc financial transactions, including journals
  • A good level of communication skills, both verbally, by email and phone
  • Carry out adhoc requests and support other team members during periods of absence
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications (Skills and Competencies)
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable controls, collections, invoice matching, reconciliations, and month-end activities.
  • An understanding of VAT and the requirement to code transactions inline with the appropriate tax code
  • Prior experience with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA (FI and SD modules) Experience in NetSuite would be preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 skills required
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken). Additional languages (e.g. French, Italian) preferred but not essential
Experience Requirements (Years of experience)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a multi-currency accounts positio
  • Experience in Shared Services environments preferre
  • Previous experience working collaboratively with cross-functional team
  • Prior experience of working in an international, multi-entity environment
Education Requirements
  • School Diploma (Realschulabschluss or higher)
  • relevant vocational training successfully completed

  • Typical office environment
  • Must be able to use basic office equipment: computer, printer, copier, telephone, etc.
  • Must be capable of communicating with stakeholders through various means.
  • Proactive, “can-do” attitude, and a solutions-focused approach; with a drive to take on more responsibility and expand knowledge and skill set beyond current levels
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to remain stationary for long periods of time
