Netlight Consulting in Munich is seeking a Team Lead in accounting to guide a global GL team and drive continuous improvement of finance processes. The role is based in Munich with collaboration across our international offices.

You will lead daily accounting operations, support month-end and year-end closings, ensure reconciliations, oversee reporting and audits, and manage VAT and tax reporting while promoting a high-performing, inclusive team culture.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting.

Netlight is seeking a Team Lead within accounting, who will be responsible for leading a team of GL accountants globally as well as supporting the continuous improvement of finance processes globally. The position is located in our office in Munich but you will be collaborating with colleagues across all our offices in an international Finance team.

Who you are

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience within finance, accounting, or a similar field.
• Experience from an ERP system implementation is highly preferable; experience with leading cloud-based ERP solutions, is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to drive improvements and manage change in finance processes.
• Experience from a similar team-lead or senior accountant/controller role is meriting.
• You are solution-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving international environment.
• You are an inclusive and humble leader, eager to develop both yourself and your team.
