Amazon WWRR is comprised of business, product, operational, program, software engineering and data teams that manage the life of a returned or damaged product from a customer to the warehouse and on to its next best use.
In this role as Account Manager for EU Partnerships you will grow and develop our Returns partnerships with some of the largest companies in the world by delivering to and relentlessly high operational standards and through strategic customer and business insights. As the ‘boots on the ground’ owner for EU Partnerships, you will lead strategic partner relationships independently and in collaboration with several teams in WW RLS, Partner organization and other Amazon stakeholder teams. You will own Operational enablement, Customer Experience and Business goals for Returns Partnerships, setting up and driving mechanisms eliminate operational or CX defects, track and improve metrics that matter to Amazon and the partner, bringing the partner on board for new initiatives, operational change management through deep and wide engagement with internal and partner teams to unearth and execute on opportunities.
The right candidate stays on top of partner performance (operational, CX, cost), is updated on industry and competitive trends, Amazon launches/initiatives, partner launches and strategic developments and can execute at both a tactical and strategic level. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving operational excellence directly, strategic relationship building, category/vendor management & growth, business analytics, negotiation, and P/L management. This role requires an individual with excellent execution and process excellence mindset, strong verbal and written communications, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving abilities and strong business acumen.
Beyond English, fluency in French, German or Spanish is highly preferred and is a plus.
Own EU Partnerships level operational excellence through mechanism-driven engagements with internal teams
Own partner engagement through mechanisms like weekly partner reviews, joint scorecards, NPS deep-dive, close looping and reporting on key performance metrics
As the single-threaded owner for horizontal capabilities like Packaging Supplies replenishment and management, Associate Support improvements, drive operational excellence with bias for action and north-star mindset at the same time
As partner account owner, drive partner operational excellence, day to day operations and process adoption in collaboration with internal teams
Execute adoption and conversion initiatives independently, work with the BD, Product and program teams to plan experiments and measure impact
Own and execute 'Walk the Store' for Partner stores, lead deep-dives, develop anecdote/data-driven insights
Drive new Partner launch execution in collaboration with the Business Development team
Handle a high volume of engagements and interactions, working directly with store networks, when needed
Experience in account management, project/program management
Superior analytical skills, critical thinking, and willingness to roll up sleeves to get it done
Comfortable working with Gen AI, experience with MS Excel, SQL, Word, Presentation and aptitude to manage web-based tools
In addition to English, fluency in German, Spanish or French
2+ years of experience in Retail business and/or Operations, Account or Vendor Management
