BMW Group's 18-month Trainee IT & Artificial Intelligence program in Munich invites you to explore Embedded Software, Data Analytics, AI/ML, and Cyber Security through four placements, including two abroad, building an international network and deep project exposure.

You'll be mentored by experienced experts, develop a strategic mindset, and aim for a permanent role with potential for senior expert or managerial positions.

Qualifikationen

• Strong academic record in fields such as Computer Science, (Business) Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, (Business) Informatics, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or similar.
• Good technical understanding of IT architecture and programming skills.
• At least six months of relevant practical experience in an environment close to the working areas above.
• A minimum of four months of studying, working or travelling abroad.

Aufgaben

• Gain hands-on IT experience across IT areas (Embedded Software, Data Analytics, AI/ML, Cyber Security).
• Supervise projects in Cloud Computing/Services and App or Full Stack Development.
• Contribute to agile software development processes.

Which topics can you expect?

• As part of our highlyqualified and supportive team, you will immerse yourself in a specific IT area within the BMW Group. Together, we will identify the field that best aligns with your interests, such as Embedded Software Development, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or (Automotive) Cyber Security.
• You may also supervise projects in the field of Cloud Computing and Services as well as in App or Full Stack Development.
• The area of activities you can be involved in ranges from programming small prototypes using different programming languages (e. g. C/ C++, Python, Java, Kotlin) to participating in a feature team.
• In addition to valuable experience in IT project management, you will also acquire knowledge of agile software development processes.

What is your professional background?

• A strong academic record in fields such as Computer Science, (Business) Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, (Business) Informatics, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or similar.
