Your tasks:

As a member of the Service Team, you will be responsible for performing service tasks for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). These tasks include inspections, installations, repairs, system configuration, training, and maintenance—both remotely and at customer sites—while ensuring compliance with applicable health and safety standards.

You will also share responsibility for remote support at the Battery Operations Center in Wiener Neudorf for global customers (e.g., USA, Europe, South Africa, Australia etc.) as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams such as project management, production, R&D, and logistics.

Your profile:

  • Engineering degree or technical school (HTL) in electrical engineering/electronics or similar
  • 3 years of field experience in service, installation and/or commissioning in industrial environments
  • Technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • PLC or BESS experience would be an advantage
  • Customer orientation and problem-solving skills
  • Working as part of a team, as well as independent
  • Very good MS-Office knowledge
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 25%)

This position is subject to the collective agreement for the metal (processing) trade. We offer a minimum gross monthly salary of EUR 3,500 in line with the market. A willingness to overpay and/or travel allowance is possible depending on qualifications and experience.
