We are looking for a Data Scientist (m/f/d) with an analytical mind, visionary power, and implementation strength to help AI-based business models succeed.

Data is the foundation of AI-based business models, products, and services. The key to success is to analyze data efficiently, collect it wisely, sketch possible solutions, provide proof of feasibility, and implement ideas with determination. What you will be doing

  1. Use data to improve business decisions, enhance customer satisfaction, and increase business impact.
  2. Perform data preprocessing, determine appropriate analytical approaches and modeling techniques, and deploy supervised and unsupervised machine learning models (e.g., deep learning, NLP, clustering), recommendation systems, or similar.
  3. Create insightful visualizations and deliver presentations to stakeholders, telling convincing and logical stories using data.
  4. Contribute proactively to the collection of best practices in Data Science and Machine Learning and develop Sclable’s Data Science roadmap.
  5. Stay up-to-date on data science and machine learning developments and trends.
  6. Collaborate with data engineers, machine learning engineers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to optimize service delivery.

What you should have

  1. At least 3 years of applied Data Science experience analyzing data, building production-grade AI/ML models, and storytelling with data to create positive business impacts.
  2. Advanced data analytics skills and experience creating beautiful data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Shiny).
  3. Profound statistical and mathematical understanding from academic studies (e.g., Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science).
  4. Proficiency in programming in an object-oriented language (preferably Python), with R as a plus.
  5. Excellent knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning packages and tools (familiarity with TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch is a plus).
  6. Hands-on experience with Big Data environments and tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks) in cloud settings (Azure, AWS, GCP) for developing, training, testing, and deploying models.
  7. Strong communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels and data literacy levels.
  8. Team player with a hands-on mentality focused on customer satisfaction.
  9. A valid work permit for Austria.
  10. As a plus: Experience in data collection, processing, cleansing, and storage as a Data Engineer.

  5. The gross monthly salary starts at €3,175 (according to the collective agreement for data processing and information technology), typically around €4,000 depending on qualifications and experience. We are open to negotiations for candidates with special qualifications.
