The “Cost Controlling” department, within Group Finance, acts as a finance business partner for Erste Group and its subsidiaries, focusing on cost development and outsourcing issues. The department handles HR Controlling, responsible for personnel cost planning, reporting, KPI creation, and monitoring. The team collaborates with management and business partners to develop cost targets aligned with strategic goals and supports departments in achieving these targets.

Your Tasks

  • Planning & Forecasting of personnel costs in line with Group strategy
  • Setting and monitoring KPIs, supporting business units in achieving HR cost targets
  • Regular reporting on personnel cost development to top management and participation in strategic projects
  • Analyzing current cost structures, identifying cost potentials, and engaging with stakeholders
  • Developing HR controlling methods and related reporting, including visualization and automation
  • Regular communication with departments such as Retail, Corporates, Risk, Controlling, and HR Business Partners, as well as top management

Your Background

  • University degree in controlling, human resources, business administration, or business law
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in HR controlling or payroll accounting, preferably in banking
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP (CO/HR/SuccessFactors); Tableau is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, teamwork, commitment, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Excellent English communication; German skills are advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of Austrian labor law
