Job Description

Position Description Summary:

  • Assist in the review, development, and editing of documentation related to ADA compliance, including reports, memos, policy papers, manuals, guides, procedures, and research materials.
  • Ensure that all written materials accurately reflect current accessibility standards, legal requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Translate complex regulatory and technical information into clear, concise, and accessible language for diverse internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborate with compliance reviewers, subject matter experts, and other staff and stakeholders to maintain consistency and clarity across all ADA-related communications and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit ADA compliance reports, manuals, and guides.
  • Translate technical regulations into clear, accessible language.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity in all ADA-related documents.
  • Collaborate with reviewers, experts, and stakeholders.
  • Review and revise materials for accuracy and accessibility.
  • Maintain templates and document standards for ADA communications.

Skills & Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience writing research reports, policy papers, memos, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DOT standards, ADA regulations, and relevant Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a discipline that requires rigorous writing.
