The Institute for Islamic-Theological Studies is looking for an organizational assistant for the Discipline of Alevi-Theological Studies. We are a young team and offer a pleasant working atmosphere, diverse tasks and good opportunities for further training.
Your personal sphere of activity:
Your future workplace is at the Institute for Islamic-Theological Studies in the Discipline of Alevi Theological Studies. In addition to supporting Prof. Dr. Riza Yildirim in personel, budget and project matters, you will also be expected to support the Institute's administrative team. The position comprises 20 hours and is initially limited to 1 year (with the option of extension).
What you will do:
- You will support the Alevi Theological Studies team in the organization and administration of their research and teaching tasks. This means, among other things: You will organize meetings, workshops and travel activities. You will take minutes and prepare data. You will provide support in the preparation of publications and events. You will manage project budgets. You will edit the website and send out newsletters.
- You are the central contact person and take care of correspondence in English and German with all interfaces (internal team, university, project partners, students, etc.).
- You will be responsible for maintaining u:cris, managing keys, placing orders and supporting the administration team in the areas of IT and finance.
This is part of your personality:
- Knowledge of university structures and processes or experience in university administration is an advantage
- General or vocational secondary or higher school leaving certificate (Matura) or commercial apprenticeship qualification
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Very good German and solid English skills (B2 level and above)
- Experience with content management systems (Typo 3 and WordPress) & social media
- Experience with SAP and MailChimp is an advantage
