To strengthen our team we are looking for a:

LEAD ANALYSIS ENGINEER (f/m/d)

YOUR TASKS

  • Establish and grow the in-house analysis team, including assistance in hiring, mentoring, and developing talenT
  • Set up robust and scalable FEA modelling strategies for simulating the behaviour of CFRP pressure vessels and spaceflight structures, particularly focusing on Type 3 Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessels (COPVs) with an aluminium liner.
  • Define and implement standardized analysis workflows, methodologies, and best practices
  • Apply advanced structural and fracture mechanics principles to assess performance and safety, with focus on COPVs and the application of damage tolerance methodologies.
  • Validate analytical and numerical results against test data and qualification programs
  • Generate clear, traceable analysis reports for internal use and for customer delivery
  • Represent the analysis department in customer meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions
  • Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and testing departments
  • Support technology development and proposal efforts with analytical expertise
  • Coordination with external calculation partners

YOUR PROFILE

  • A degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, applied physics or a related technical field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in structural analysis, preferably within the aerospace industry
  • Deep understanding of composite materials and their behaviour under load
  • Solid foundation in fracture mechanics and failure analysis
  • Proficiency in finite element analysis tools (e.g. Ansys, Abaqus, Hyper Mesh)
  • Ability to design, establish, and oversee test campaigns aimed at model calibration and validation
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes
  • Experience working with pressure vessels, launch vehicles, or spacecraft structures is a plus
  • Leadership mindset and the ambition to build and lead a high-performing team
  • Analytical precision, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills

Based on your education, qualifications, and professional experience, we offer an attractive, market-compliant starting salary from EUR 63,500.00 gross per year on a full-time basis. The actual remuneration will be determined in accordance with your individual educational background and relevant work experience.
