Job Description

We seek a team-oriented medical professional who values fairness, honesty, and enjoys working with healthy donors. The role offers meaningful work with regular hours—no night, Sunday, or holiday shifts—and is suitable for general practitioners, transfusion physicians, or specialists in anesthesiology, intensive care, or internal medicine, including early-career doctors, career changers, and retirees.

Potential for development into Medical Director in Linz, Wels, Vienna, or Salzburg.

Your Responsibilities

  • Educate donors about plasma donation procedures
  • Conduct medical histories and examinations to assess donation eligibility
  • Determine donor suitability, provide counseling, and manage deferrals
  • Supervise medical staff at the center
  • Recognize and treat donor reactions, provide first aid
  • Collaborate with a dedicated, experienced team

Qualifications

  • Medical license (Ius practicandi)
  • Friendly, empathetic manner
  • Excellent German and good English skills; additional languages a plus
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Positive personality and team spirit
