With Tier A global customers and growing revenue, we’re entering a pivotal product scaling phase, and we’re looking for a Senior/Founding Engineer to shape and lead the technical journey.

This is a foundational seat. You'll work directly with the CTO/CEO and founding team, own core technical decisions, and co-create both the product and the team that defines the category.

We’re applying frontier AI and search tech to chaotic enterprise data. You’ll lead development across our AI-first product stack (Python, TypeScript, React) with a strong focus on retrieval systems, semantic search, and LLM integration.

• Architect and own our AI-powered retrieval pipeline: RAG, hybrid search (dense/sparse), embedding stores
• Build scalable, production-ready ML infrastructure (Python, Docker/K8s, AWS/GCP and Azure)
• Drive rapid experimentation and evaluation frameworks to improve search and ranking quality
• Define engineering standards across observability, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps
• Implement fast-feedback features using modern LLM stacks and evaluate them continuously in real usage
• Collaborate directly with the CTO/CEO/CPO on product shaping
• Prototype and validate technical solutions in fast-changing enterprise contexts
• Translate ambiguous enterprise user needs into robust product features (with the help of the product team)
• Participate in onboarding and customer success to close the loop between user pain and product iteration

Must-Have Experience

• 3+ years in high-impact engineering roles, ideally in fast-moving startups (scale ups)
• Hands-on experience building AI/ML-powered search systems (semantic search, RAG, vector DBs, hybrid ranking)
• Strong backend and infra chops: Python, TypeScript/Node, Docker/K8s, AWS/GCP
• Experience building production-ready ML or LLM pipelines end-to-end
• Strong communicator who can align with both technical and non-technical team

Bonus Points

• Experience integrating vector search (e.g. Weaviate, Pinecone, FAISS) and LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Mistral, Claude)
• Familiarity with eval frameworks like like Langfuse, LangChain and human-in-the-loop testing
• Built and scaled enterprise SaaS with security/privacy in mind (SOC2, GDPR, SSO,ISOs)
• Prior work launching B2B pilots, PoCs, or high-stakes experimental features
• Exposure to AEC, productivity tools, or document-heavy verticals
