Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure & System Setup
1.Deploy, configure, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure to support CAD/PLM tools (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE).
2.Manage virtualization, storage, and networking for high-performance engineering workloads.
3.Troubleshoot hardware/software issues related to CAD/PLM applications and ensure minimal downtime.
Cloud Integration & Optimization
1.Architect and implement cloud-based solutions for CAD/PLM systems to enable remote collaboration and scalability.
2.Optimize cloud costs and performance for engineering applications (e.g., GPU-accelerated rendering, simulation workloads).
3.Automate deployment pipelines (CI/CD) for PLM software updates and patches.
Data Access & Governance
1.Design and enforce role-based access controls for CAD/PLM systems to protect intellectual property.
2.Streamline data sharing workflows between engineering, manufacturing, and external partners.
3.Monitor and audit user activity to prevent unauthorized access or data leaks.
User Support & Training
1.Provide technical support to engineering teams for CAD/PLM tools, licenses, and performance issues.
2.Develop training materials and documentation for new system implementations.
Qualification:
1.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2.Experience:5+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, or CAD/PLM administration.
3.Hands-on experience with PLM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA) and CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX).
4.Proficiency in AWS/Azure/GCP, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and networking.
5.Technical Skills:Scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
Knowledge of IAM (Identity and Access Management) and data security best practices.
Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) for engineering workloads.
6.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
