Resumo da oferta

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Web Design Systems Designer. You will own how our client design systems are built, translating brands and reference sites into tokens, variables, modes, and core components that a build pipeline can execute with precision.

You will work across multiple client brands, document the system for developers, and ensure consistency of structure and rigor across projects while collaborating with an English-speaking US-facing team to align with business hours.

Qualificações

• 4+ years designing for the web with real design system work in portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, component properties, auto layout, and variants.
• A portfolio showing work across multiple clients with consistent underlying rigor.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Build token architecture in Figma using variables, modes, and semantic naming our pipeline can read predictably.
• Ship core component libraries that hold up across an entire site, not just a homepage.
• Document the system so a developer or automated pipeline can execute it without questions.
• Work across several client brands at once, each looking distinctly different, with the same structural rigor.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency builds websites and marketing programs for clients across the US. As Web Design Systems Designer at Blacksmith, you own how our client design systems get built. You take a brand and a few reference sites, then extract the pattern into a working system: tokens, variables, modes, and core components a build pipeline can execute without asking you questions. Precision is the job.
