Cloud Accountant Staffing - Careers is seeking an experienced tax professional to own multi-entity return preparation and review, with emphasis on planning memos, workpapers, and timely sign-offs. You will explain §199A and other complex issues in plain English and coach others to raise the overall quality of work.

The role is open to Tax Accountant and Tax Manager levels, with a strong focus on accuracy, process rigor, and client service during busy seasons.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of U.S. tax experience preparing/reviewing 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal/state tax rules and IRS procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end tax intake and map client returns to work plans.
• Prepare and review multi-entity returns (1065/1120/1120-S) and K-1s.
• Prepare/Review individual returns (1040) with schedules and forms.
• Handle multi-state/SALT, credits, elections, depreciation, and notices.
• Create audit-ready workpapers and manage e-file submissions.
• Draft concise responses to IRS/state notices and keep clients informed.
