Massive Bio, a US-headquartered AI-powered precision medicine platform, seeks a physician to serve as the clinical voice inside trial delivery. You will explain why a trial is enrolling or not and collaborate with clinical operations, marketing and provider engagement to translate data into action.

You will join sponsor meetings and work with leadership across markets on new trials, enrollment strategies, and risk escalation.

Formación

• MD with direct clinical experience in oncology or hematology.
• Knowledge of clinical trial protocols, eligibility criteria, and biomarker testing in oncology.
• Ability to read operational data (funnels, dashboards, enrollment reports) and translate into clinical explanations and plans.
• Fluent English, capable of leading clinical discussions with sponsors.
• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, build-mode environment.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate trial funnel clinically from patient identification through enrollment and explain why patients are not converting.
• Diagnose enrollment blockers by cause (eligibility, biomarkers, data availability) and propose fixes.
• Set eligibility and biomarker guidance for operations, marketing and provider engagement teams.
• Improve clinical accuracy of patient matching and prioritization against trial protocols.
• Join sponsor meetings and provide medical substance behind delivery reporting to the client-facing team.
• Contribute the medical view to internal kick-offs and operational plans for new trials; participate in reviews for underperforming trials.
• Escalate clinical risks and enrollment blockers to leadership on a regular cadence.

About the Opportunity

Massive Bio serves cancer patients across 17 markets, covering the enrollment value chain from patient identification through AI pre-screening to last mile enrollment.

This role is the clinical voice inside trial delivery. You are the physician who explains why a trial is or is not enrolling and what should change. You work with the clinical operations, marketing, and provider engagement teams to act on that, and you join sponsor meetings to carry the oncology answer directly. You will work closely with company leadership throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate each trial funnel clinically, from patient identification and pre-screening through referral, screening, and enrollment, and establish why patients are not converting.

• Diagnose enrollment blockers by cause, including eligibility criteria, biomarker requirements, medical record availability, and market-specific limitations, and propose the fix.

• Set eligibility and biomarker guidance for the clinical operations, marketing, and provider engagement teams so that patient identification targets the right populations.

• Improve the clinical accuracy of how patients are matched and prioritized against trial protocols.

• Join sponsor meetings and answer clinical and oncology questions directly, giving the client-facing team medical substance behind its delivery reporting.

• Contribute the medical view to internal kick-offs and operational plans for new trials, and to delivery reviews for trials that are underperforming.

• Escalate clinical risks and enrollment blockers to company leadership on a regular cadence.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Required:

• Medical degree (MD) with direct clinical experience in oncology or hematology.

• Working knowledge of clinical trial protocols, eligibility criteria, and biomarker testing in oncology.

• Ability to read operational data, including funnels, dashboards, and enrollment reporting, and turn it into a clinical explanation and a plan.

• Fluent English, at a level suited to leading clinical discussion with pharmaceutical sponsors.

• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, build-mode environment.

Preferred:

• Experience in clinical research, patient recruitment, or trial operations at a sponsor, CRO, or research site.

• Familiarity with oncology treatment sequencing and precision medicine workflows.

• Experience working across more than one country or market.

• Working Portuguese.
