A leading cybersecurity firm in Bogotá is looking for an energetic security analyst to join their Managed Detection and Response team. The analyst will identify security threats using advanced technologies and serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding their security posture. Ideal candidates will have hands-on cybersecurity experience, strong analytical skills, and enthusiasm for network security.

Formación

• Proven hands-on experience in the cybersecurity industry.
• Strong knowledge of networking architecture and protocols.
• Comprehensive understanding of common threats and attack scenarios.
• Practical experience with various security technologies.
• Fluent in English with exceptional communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct threat-hunting activities and perform security assessments.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
• Assist SOC analysts in security incidents investigation.
• Develop indicators of an attack to enhance threat-hunting.

Conocimientos

Hands-on experience in cybersecurity

Excellent customer service skills

Knowledge of networking architecture and protocols

Understanding of cybersecurity threats

Experience with security technologies

Analytical mindset

Fluent in English

Proficiency in scripting (Python/Ruby)

Team player

Educación

BSc. in Computer Science, IT, or similar
