Overview

Job Description: We are looking for someone who will use from a diverse set of technical backgrounds and opinions by encouraging a team-oriented environment and the use of open and direct communications, and respect. You will also seek knowledge of new developments in software engineering, computer engineering, and test automation fields and will identify and pursue career development opportunities.

You will be within the Control and Visualization Business, which develops software products that ensure industrial automation.

What You Will Do

• Collect, contribute to and document requirements for a feature and its components, ensuring the information required to develop software and corresponding test cases are contained in the specifications.
• Test Common Services (CS). You should know how to test REST API and some experience testing Angular apps is good too if possible and one resource for SRA (Security Remote Access) Testing... at least one year of experience in this specific topic.
• Develop through unit test plans. Report, debug and correct anomalies. Take the lead in the integration of other components by solving problems within subsystems to produce a final product.
• Participate in reviews of documents, designs, code, test cases and user documentation.
• Estimate, plan, develop test suites, test cases and automated tests to ensure appropriate functional test coverage is attained.
• Ensure documented test cases and specifications validate documented software requirements.
• Perform product testing, reporting on problems encountered and documenting test results for follow-up.
• Determine the origin and cause of anomalies identified.
• Think outside the box and research and explore new avenues to by using the latest technologies and standards.
• Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners and convey design concepts, both verbally and in writing.
• Learn and understand complex control system concepts.
• Report to the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

Minimal Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a software product development environment
• Apply knowledge of automated test tools.
• Apply knowledge of testing integrated software products.
• Apply knowledge of software test methodologies.

Main Qualifications

• Direct experience with web-based technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and Angular
• Direct experience with C++, C#, or other relevant programming languages
• Apply data structures and algorithms
• Apply basic knowledge of object-oriented designs
• Experience architecting modular software
• Direct experience with the Industrial Automation industry
• Direct experience collaborating with local and global technical development teams
• Advanced English
