Job summary

Air Products Colombia (Cryogas) is seeking a Project Construction Technician to join the Engineering and Execution team in Sibate. You will supervise field construction activities, ensure work is performed per plans, specs, and schedules, and promote a strong safety culture.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in supervising industrial civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works, with willingness to travel and interpret AutoCAD drawings.

Qualifications

• Technical formation in Civil Construction, Mechanical, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience supervising industrial civil, mechanical, electrical, and control works.
• Willingness to travel and read blueprints (AutoCAD drawings).

Responsibilities

• Supervise field construction activities in civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors and field teams.
• Monitor progress, identify variances, and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with technical specs, standards, and schedules.
• Verify materials, equipment, and services used in project execution.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental standards across sites.
• Report progress and communicate risks or deviations to stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to field teams and support project implementation.
